smock dress - RI @ asos | slippers - miss selfridge | bag - new look | denim jacket - my mums

this is the outfit i wore yesterday when i went out for my sister's birthday - we went out for lunch with our mum followed by tea with our dad - hey fatties! this is the dress that i ordered recently from my asos wishlist. i'm still deciding what to keep from the order as there are a few pieces that i'm not sure about yet! i actually only decided to keep this dress when i put it on yesterday morning 5 minutes before i left the house! it's so floaty and airy and can hide two meals out very well - my food baby was my little secret by the end of the night! i currently really love smock-style dresses as its just something you can throw on with little effort and not have to worry about how you look.

 i also decided to funk up my nails the other day - i have painted them in 'you're such a budapest' -  a lovely blue-purple colour from the o.p.i euro centrale giftset and then used a white nail art pen to create jagged zig-zag lines on my ring fingers. the good thing about this nail art is that it doesn't have to be perfect or straight, i think mine turned out pretty well to say i rushed it a little!

i'm off to alton towers today with my lovely sister to celebrate her birthday again - i haven't been for a good couple of years and really want to try out the new rides they've had in! it's going to be such a fun sister's day out and i'll hopefully get lots of snaps along the way to share with you all!
